The crew of The Wind Power Support Boat, which services and maintains windfarms in the Humber Estuary, were having severe problems with glare reflecting off the water and into the boat's cabin.
The sheer amount of sunlight when sailing on the estuary was creating visibility problems for the crew, and affecting the temperature of the cabin dramatically.
They called Shady Days, and we were able to fit a window film which not only blocks glare, but also provides the cabin with better heat regulation by inhibiting heat entering the cabin in the summer, and preventing heat escape in the winter. Now the crew no longer dread going out on a crisp winters day, thanks to Shady Days.

| Being on water, a lot of sunlight hits boats. The help that window tints give in blocking out glare is tremendous. |
The harsh glare of the sun can be blocked, while still maintaining perfect visibility. This is very important for steering and navigating a boat. |
